William G. Anderson, D.O., is a Baptist, a surgeon and a leader, but most importantly, a member of the osteopathic medical profession. As past president of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), Dr. Anderson has spent his professional life enhancing, promoting and leading osteopathic medical education and the osteopathic medical profession. In this keynote address given during the AOA's Unified Osteopathic Convention, Dr. Anderson recounts the reasons why he's proud to be a D.O., and challenges other D.O.s and osteopathic medical students to find their own pride in the osteopathic medical profession.
