I was coming here to speak up about the "nappy" comment but you guys already took care of that. I despise that word. I was the only one with 4c hair in my household growing up and so i was made fun of...by my own BLACK family. I was under the impression that my hair just didnt grow, when in reality it was always breaking off due to nobody taking care of it.I was taught to hate my hair and myself but it took almost 36 years before i learned to love myself and my hair and care for it. Now its long and thick and cant nobody tell me nothin' lol ❤
