If you have ever been employed by somebody else then you probably know that being employed is like giving up on your dreams. Why would you want to work for somebody else and make them money when you could make more being your own boss?

What I recommend is that you start your own business. In particularly an online business. Why? Simply because an online business will give you a lot of options and allow you to work when you want to, rather than all the time.

The only reason nowadays to work a 9-5 job is to save up enough money to last for six months expenses, while you build your side hustle. Once you have that six to nine months of expenses saved up, fire your boss :)

When I first got hired by the last company I worked for, I got 4 minutes of overtime for the week. Then the next day, the HR lady comes to my desk and says the owner doesn't want to pay overtime so I'll have to take the 4 minutes off to make it 40 hours. I knew before I never wanted to work for anyone else again but that just sealed the deal.

In the last 5 years, I’ve had 11 jobs and I get paid SSI due to me being mentally disabled. At every job I’ve had, I was treated like a whole slave, I was falsely accused for shit I didn’t even do, discriminated, was called a slave, etc. i’m a whole gaming creator and retired rap artist and I could make more money on rumble, TikTok, and YouTube if I bought real followers, views, streams, playlists, etc. then working a 9-5.

The 9-5 J.O.B. (i.e. Which Stands for Just Over Broke!!) is a broken model. There is no Job Security and Employers are demanding more and more from their staff!!! Your Immediate Manager or Superior is your One and Only Customer!!! If you fail to satisfy their work requirements listed in the job description. When They next decide to cut costs or overheads!! I have an interview with Tmobile tomorrow lol I feel like I need it just to make some money and use that money to invest. I don't see how I can make any money with no money so a job might be necessary at first

I find being paid hourly absurd. Regardless if I'm lazy af or blitz through the work I am paid the same. I would love to work for return of effort... I'm just not the type for real estate, telemarketers etc. So I guess I will have to do it myself.
And as a side - working In healthcare with shift work, they tell you when you can sleep! What time of the day or night you are working. For me, I've always found it absurd. I'm a good employee ofcourse, I see and play that game but the older I get the more painful it is. Here's to self employment!

I’m 60. You know in some ways I really don’t blame these young people for having this kind of an attitude about working for corporate America or somebody else for that matter. But first of all understand this. It’s not about working. It’s about working for someone else. You have no life when you work for the man.
But. Also. Understand this. You must work.
If your like me. You probably have one of same bad habits that I have. And that is.
You like to eat from time to time. Lol 😂
So you must work.
But. You don’t have to work for corporate America or the man.

well, my experience is that there is so much work that you must stay 2 or 3 hrs overtime to get it all done. And, no one pays you for the overtime...
