i used to work at chipotle! i can tell you that if you’re kind to us we will give you almost anything you ask, 99% of the time people treat us like crap. also always get two side tortillas & a bowl with as much as you can on it, side tortillas only cost 50 cents & you can have two burritos for the price of one bowl

As an ex employee. They do limit your portions. Before I left they started enacting "portion control tests" but I always made sure when I could to give more food than allowed because screw that shitty company

Other neat tip: you can ask for a tortilla on the bottom of the bowl (open). That way, once you eat half the bowl, you can wrap the tortilla up into a decently sized burrito thats properly mixed up instead of having one side of iust rice and the other of just meat.

Speaking as an Asian who has only been to Chipotle once, in my opinion, they passed the rice test, because if they got good rice, their food is nice.

This is actually not the cheapest meal. Here’s what to do..
Get a kids build your own tacos, substitute the two tortillas for a large burrito one, then get your 3 sides that are included with the meal, then ask for more things on the side. This will come up to (at most) $7. Don’t get scammed he’s not a a professional food hacker or whatever, I AM!

i work at chipotle, and the reason it looks like we are scamming you is because lowkey we are. we have specific serving amounts we have to give. if we go over that amount it shows and corporate doesn't like that. And if we gave everyone a shit ton of whatever then that also means a lot more work for prep and the grill. i actually got yelled at cuz i kept giving too much rice.
