Hey Kurt, thank to give me the opportunity to discover John Prine through this so emotional song. Fun fact: I sent a mail to the local radio station of my town (in Switzerland) about this song and they played it the next day, I was so proud ! R.I.P

I’m here because the $19.99 I paid to rent Dog just paid for itself several times over in the opening credits. ❤️ Had not heard this gem before. Will be buying it presently.

I’ve been listening to Kurt Vile for some years now, all my favourite songs are from him, just love how he can make songs so catchy and I love how he jams with his guitar in them. I’m from UK 🇬🇧

Lyrics :-) :
One, two
A one, two, three
Today I walked down the street I used to wander
Yeah, shook my hand and made myself a bet
There was all these things that I don't think I remember
Hey, how lucky can one man get?
I bronzed my shoes and I hung 'em from a rearview mirror
Bronzed admiration in the blind spot of regret
There was all these things that I don't think I remember
Hey, how lucky can one man get?
Today I walked down the street I used to wandеr
Yeah, scratched my head and lit my cigarеtte
Well, there was all these things that I don't think I remember
Hey, how lucky can one man get?
Today I walked down the street I used to wander
Yeah, shook my hand and made myself a bet
Well, there was all these things that I don't think I remember
Hey, how lucky can one man get?
Hey, how lucky can one man get?
Hey, how lucky can one man get?

Gratitude is the best attitude. Thank you for this song. Yes, I am a lucky man.

Unconditional love for myself and all living things in this beautiful world.

We are powerful co-creators of this reality.

Don't like this reality? Changing our beliefs will help change our reality--and we can do this together without asking the psychopaths for permission.

We can stop believing in fake money created from debt.

We can stop believing in government and that some politician will come to our rescue.

We can stop believing in Abrahamic desert death cults that try to control members through fear and guilt.

We are standing united in love. We are choosing not to allow ourselves to become divided by colour, race, nationality, gender, age,

Love this beautiful simple song. Love John Prine and starting to love Kurt. By the way, I heard this first on a great new station in Raleigh, North Carolina, named That Station, 95.7 FM. Has to be a great station if it plays this tune, right? By the way, love the Kurt and Courtney Barnett stuff!
