Thank you for posting side-by-side pictures of the large date and small date 1982 pennies. There are so many on eBay or online even companies that list is small but when you enlarge them they are large date numbers.

I got me a 1982 D cent weights 3.12 grams, but its difficult to identify it, Im going out there to a coin shop to see if its the one.

I believe I have a 1982-D small date, 3.1g penny. It has errors from the mint that look like wide track gauges on the obverse side. The reason why I say they are errors from the mint is that they have either copper blobs or wires that are clearly on top of the errors. Because of the errors should I still send it out to be graded some people say the errors may make it more desirable than most some say not. Thank you for your help
