Men are so respectful in mosh pits and this is a great exampke of it. Did you see how there was a protective circle around her not violently thrashing like the guys towards the stage?

There is an unspoken etiquite in moshpits that is regulated by everyone else in the mosh pit. People only push what it seems people aroind them can take. Accidents happen (punches, etc) but when you're in it it's fairly obvious when it's an accident. If someone falls, anyone near will immediately help them up. If someone is being overly agressive to someone weaker (including women) another person will physically push them away, tell them not tt, stand in defense of the weaker person, or help them get out of the pit if they really just shouldn't be there at all. It's mosly unspoken. At any rate, these guys are just trying to let off steam; It's not some blind rage.

My friend and I unknowingly stood in the center of one at the 2004 ozzfest during Hatebreed when we were 14-15. I was 80 lbs and 4'10". Caught an elbow by a bulldozer and like 10 dudes made a circle around us and took the hits for us while we screamed in delight. First concert memories are the best ones 😂
