Co-op specifically isnt the point being made. In the UK you dont usually get zoning laws creating endless suburban spraw of just houses. Here its all a bit more varied, and you are highly likely to get small supermarkets (maybe 7-11 equivalents?) opening up to serve primarily residential areas, so you have a place to walk to get a few items when you need them.

It's rarely mentioned in the biscuit/cookie debate but in the UK cookies are a specific type of biscuit rather than, as is always said, being every type of biscuit.

when she says about the co-op shes just talking about local supermarkets, americans outside cities probably wouldnt be used to them but in the uk theyre everywhere, every few streets there will be a co-op food, asda local, tesco express, spar, eurospar, maybe a mace or a daytoday or a todays local or a coscutters or a russels etc youre never far from a small market. A COOKIE IS A TYPE OF BISCUIT. If you have a job in the uk, you likely dont do your taxes, in fact most people in the uk will have no experience having ever filed any kind of taxes due to PAYE a system where tax is automatically deducted before you get paid. Meaning you only ever recieve your money after all taxes and contributions.

London to Disneyland Paris. You would use the train not the bus. The train journey is about 3 hours!
Profiteroles are filled with cream AND drizzled with chocolatee. And light as a cloud- so can't possibly be highly calorific, no?

Most US reactors are very enthusistic about the British Meall Deal and say they really wish they could get the same deals at home....Maybe California is different.
