Spray glass cleaner on the “glazing tape” set the glass and you have 3-7 seconds to wiggle it until it’s centered

I think you might have saved my life in this Arizona heat . How do i know what kind of window to get or where is a good place to go ? Is it hard to scrape off the weather stripping and the trim ? Also are all windows the same or ?

I had the impression that "double paned" meant two fixed panes, face to face in the same frame, with a pocket of air in between them. I also thought that duct taping the glass first and breaking it with a hammer would be ideal, but now I learn that a lawnmower is a better choice. I am wondering, though...do I mow over a pile of strategically placed rocks, or just pick it up and swing??
