Dolphins Save Swimmer from Shark Attack

The swimmer, Martin Richardson, was swimming in the Red Sea near the shore of the Sinai Peninsula when he was suddenly attacked by a shark. His companions who were on a diving boat heard him scream and he said that something bit him on the side. The 29-year-old diver later told the press that he started panicking as the shark took another bite out of his arm. It was at this point that his companions observed three bottlenose dolphins circling the wounded man. They started to flap their fins and tails which scared off the shark. As later explained by the Recanati Center for Maritime Studies at the University of Haifa in Israel, this behavior of dolphins is common by mothers when they are protecting their calves from predators. For several minutes the dolphins continued to encircle Mr, Richardson until Mr. Richardson’s companions reached him who was later rushed to a hospital where he made a full recovery.

God bless those precious dolphins for helping diver from shark! they are so smart! one time a small dog fell over a boat and five dolphins turned dog on his back and stayed with doggy pushing him to shore, safety! love them so much for being kind and loving people and other animals!!

I also was saved from a shark by a Dolphin they are wonderfull friends to humans we should protect them and respect them because of how gentle and good they are to us they have also saved people from drowning and carried them on there back to shallow water no one should ever harm them.

Very fortunate that he survived the attack. With the assistance of the Dolphin's. The fact the Shark came back to bite him again. Showed this was not an accidental mistaken attack. This was a predatory Shark attack. 💪🏼🙏🏻✨
