Hi can I perhaps get a table from the external site, using this code? say for instance an updated soccer table...

Pretty cool. I probably would have approached it a little differently. I tend not to use much object notation. Instead, I would have probably gotten all the HTML and fed it into a preg_match to grab it using a regular expression. My problem is that I would need to use 2 preg_matches and that seems to take a serious performance hit.

Like what code do I use and where do I put it, in the index file. I know HTML really well, but PHP is new to me. If you can help that would be great.

Thanks heaps Adam, really great. I read in the a script help they say for safety. should call something with a '?' instead of empty ''; also === instead of == and something about ==!. I don't understand the ! bit. Also, can you please explain how to make it so its not a specific site in the calling of the function, but any someone types in? Thanks again, you are the best <3
