THUNDERBIRDS: THE ANNIVERSARY EPISODES

A compilation of all three Thunderbirds: The Anniversary Episodes instalments. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the series, our team team produced three brand new episodes of Thunderbirds using all the classic techniques. They were "The Abominable Snowman", "Introducing Thunderbirds" and "The Stately Homes Robberies".

The series, produced in association with copyright holders ITV, was based upon three audio-only adventures released on vinyl in the 1960s. Our task was to build sets, puppets, and models matching the originals and to marry them with those adapted voice recordings. The final effect should make the audience feel that they're watching three long-lost episodes.

The series premiered at the premiered on the big screen at the British Film Institute before being released to a general audience alongside the original series on Britbox. Theatrical and broadcast rights were also acquired by Japanese distributor Tohokushinsha.

Starring Jeff Tracy, Scott Tracy, Lady Penelope, Parker and more.

Century 21 Films Ltd is a multi-faceted production company whose work spans drama to documentary, miniature effects to puppet shows. It was founded by a group of filmmakers who first collaborated on Filmed in Supermarionation, the story of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson's hit puppet shows including Thunderbirds, Stingray and Captain Scarlet.

When I was a kid Thunderbirds used to be on every Sunday morning. Apart from my father, we all had to go to church on Sundays. Then he told me that he refused to go to church, not because he wasn't religious, but because he'd miss Thunderbirds. Since that day I never went again either and we used to sit and watch it together. Watching this brings back great memories of my childhood 😊
