I looked at numerous videos on this and this one finally 😅has helped me solve 👏👏 the upper part only is not very tight but I reckon that the shape of my roof is not straight and therefore causes this.

Got something very similar to this offer Temu. Assembly instructions were on the box itself and weren't much good to be honest, and neither was the assembly video on the Temu website. This video helped me no end in putting mine together so thankyou very much.

Mine does not tighten when twisted. Judging by a lot of questions on the Amazon UK page, this is a common problem

For anyone else who struggled to tighten it, the video doesn't explicitly say it but this is how to do it:

1. Pull the rod all the way up, against the white ring
2. Tighten it while pulling it against that ring
3. Loosen it just enough so that you can slide it down
4. Tighten it to whatever point you need it at later on, as you push it against the ceiling.
