Detailing Porsche 356 Cabriolet to PERFECTION

The Porsche 356 Cabriolet is one of those iconic cars that will still be cool a century in the future. We had this beautiful 356 in for paint correction, interior detailing, chrome polishing, and finished with ceramic coating. There were some solid imperfections in the paint that we were able to bring back to like-new conditions and I love how this beautiful Porsche came out.

That has got to be a very concerning thing to do, removing trim that may well have oxidised fixings that could easily break, or find paint lifted because of rusty panels around the trim fixing holes hidden under the trim.
Your experience of polishing paint has given you an invaluable knowledge of how far you can go in dismantling trim to get that perfect IAD panel shine.

This has to be one of my favourite details you have done. I love the single stage green paint and how you made it appear 3 dimensional! You always manage to offer a finish that one could almost dive into with the incredible shine and depth. I’m curious about the ceramic coating you used though. You said it is somewhat expensive, but goes on thick and allows more time before drying. So how easy is the buffing stage with this product? I have found some thicker ceramic coatings are tougher to buff than the thinner ones. Just curious!

Good work- but it's not a 356 Cabriolet. This is a 356 Convertible D - made by Drautz. The windscreen is the point you can easily see the difference.The cabriolets frame is painted in car color. The Convertible D is chrome metal similar to the Speedsters frame but not rounded on the edges.
