What is Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM)?

Frequency Specific Microcurrent, or FSM, is a way of using low power direct current electrical stimulation to target specific tissues within the body.
Each tissue has a frequency that it specifically responds to, and there is a frequency for each specific action to effect upon that tissue. If we cross those two frequencies, we can have a very targeted approach to your rehab to compliment the manual therapy and exercises we utilize.
At DeWitt Physical Therapy, we've been using the NeuFit Neubie Direct Current Electrical Stimulation device since 2021 - one of the first 5 locations in California to offer it! Since we can select frequencies between 1-500Hz, we can tap into the FSM spectrum of treatment with the Neubie.
This allows us to provide unparalleled care of musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation, and has enhanced our outcomes significantly with our patients, allowing us to tap in to a whole new realm of healing.
