My favorite part about the fight is the ending. He understands the most important rule of the game, timing. Even tho he has her down to 3 hits, he waits. He waits until he knows he can attack. He doesn't speed run or take risks, he takes his time dismantling her. A true lord

I was offering my service as a phantom to help people with Malenia yesterday, when another phantom was summoned alongside me. He was a naked man with a pot on his head, wielding dual katanas... His name? "Let me solo her".
I was skeptical at first, but intrigued, and decided to stand at the sidelines and clap my hands to cheer on this amazing madman.
The host ran forwards, ready to for battle. Fortunately he heard my enthusiastic clapping and joined me in cheering on this extraordinary pot man.
My skepticism turned into awe, as this hero dodged every swing of Malenia's blade.. This mysterious pot man is a true hero to all Tarnished.

"Why is that timed with the music so well?" To answer: The first Dark Souls game, they matched up all of the bosses attacks to the music, except for the final boss. It subconsciously trained players to expect attacks on beat, and the end boss threw them off because it wasn't like that. And it took the devs TELLING everyone for it to finally make sense.
