People who use summons already have their mimic, Tiche, or whichever summon carried them through the base game maxed out. And people who don't use summons have no use for these.

the smithing stones drive me even crazier. at the point where you’d do the dlc you can already buy infinite smithing stones at the roundtable. why the fuck am i looting them off the ground here.

Personally I like exploring in games more than anything, especially in Elden Ring.
But the DLC items in the open world were garbage, I didn't feel accomplished except when I found the wing stance
