Cutting Test: Wright Stander ZK VS SCAG V-Ride II

We walked thorough the specs of these two units in a previous video, but how do they hold up in a cutting test? Let's find out!

IMO the scag clearly cut better. I would argue that the Velocity deck is the best there is. However, the wright has other advantages the scag doesn't. Like larger fuel capacity, and an ability to cut grass higher. I think the Wright's go up to 5 inches and the Scag only goes to 4 1/2.

I wish they’d test how a mower holds hills. I’ve demoed a few stand ups, the Scag is the only one that will hold some of the terrain I’m mowing. All while giving me an excellent cut. I’d love to demo a Wright just for the hell of it.

These videos never show how the Owner Operator can tweak and adjust their machine to perform to the Standards they set. Trust me I mowed my profile Pic lawn with an Ariens from Lowes with deck chains and notched high lift blades. I bought that mower for $4000 in 2022. 538hrs on it now.I bought a Bradley Stand On in September 2023 for Double the price of the Ariens after getting Pencil Whipped by the Dealer and almost half of my Clients prefer me cutting their lawn with the Ariens. I'm Sure the Bradley would Bush Hawg better but that don't pay my power bill.

The difference is when you put a bag on them stander fuels up the bag to the top scaag don’t even go halfway and live clomps of grass everywhere in costumers yard for sure scag is the worse machine I ever have trying to sell the one I have no one wants it lol 😝 so I live for back up in the shop
