Weslife & Do performing ''Heaven'' at the TMF Awards. Westlife is an Irish pop group that was formed in Dublin in 1998. The original lineup included Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne, and Brian McFadden, who left the group in 2004. The band enjoyed significant success, particularly in Ireland, where they achieved 11 number-one albums, 16 number-one singles, and 34 top-fifty singles. Globally, they have sold over 55 million records and have been recognized with four Guinness World Records, among other accolades such as a World Music Award, two Brit Awards, and four MTV Awards.
Westlife released twelve studio albums, initially as a five-piece until McFadden's departure, and subsequently as a four-piece. Their self-titled debut album in 1999 marked the beginning of their fame, followed by other successful albums like 'Coast to Coast' (2000), 'World of Our Own' (2001), and 'Turnaround' (2003). After McFadden left, they released cover albums '...Allow Us to Be Frank' (2004) and 'The Love Album' (2006), as well as 'Face to Face' (2005), 'Back Home' (2007), 'Where We Are' (2009), and 'Gravity' (2010). The group disbanded in 2012, after 14 years together, but later reunited in 2018.
