Architect’s Work From Home Setup 2021 - Home Office Makeover

I recently left my day job to pursue my own architecture firm and put more effort into creating videos. Transitions like this typically come with a change in environment which helps your mind switch from working for somebody to going on your own. So I decided to revamp my home office so that I could put myself in the best space physically and mentally.

I will share a complete desk tour sharing my tools & accessories in a future video. Also, I will be posting my process for designing my home office so you can design one that fits YOUR use. :)

If you want to see the complete tools and accessories I have on my desk, I will be posting a separate video about my desk setup. If that sounds interesting, consider subscribing so you get notified when those videos go live. That’s all for now. ☺️

God damn we need so much shit to work man! Back in the day ppl just needed coffee, a newsletter and a shower. That all they needed. Now we seem to need all kind of shit to at least seat down for 20mins that do quality work. Anywya, great video.

Would TOTALLY watch another video on how you designed it ahead of time since I’m probably gonna do something like this really soon myself

Can't wait until I graduate college and can finally buy stuff like this for myself! The wait is unbearable! 😁

Great message at the end about rearranging a space and reorganization, how it helps mental health and productivity. It’s so true, you’ll never know till you actually do it.

Now this is a desk I want! Look at how clean the top of that desk is! Like nearly not a cable in sight and a clear open desk is what I want!

Leave it to an architect to design such a clean and sophisticated setup. Nice Job!

My dev setup is a minimalist setup - basically a standing desk and laptop - Love your setup man - and best of success with your ventures

To be honest I prefer the older setup with the symmetry created when the desk was against the wall with shelves on either side, but that cubby really is very functional and looks great!
