Why Your Art Fails is usually due to not having the right mindset to failure as an artist, not expecting to fail, and a few other things you're not doing but you should. Let me motivate you a bit. welcome to my Ted talk.

Fake it til you make it brother! That's the way it is with EVERYTHING in life. You fall until you crawl. You stumble until you walk. You trip until you run. Your heart breaks until it doesn't. You fail until you succeed. Everyone needs a mantra to help let go of failure. To help them learn and move on to the next one. Mine is, "An inch an hour - two feet a day." It reminds me that it's a process. Last thing I would say to anyone having issues with this, "Always be kind to yourself!" - I don't mean inflate your ego. Be humble. But realize when your beating yourself up and stop that @#$!. Peace.

Myself as an older artist who has been working in TV animation for over 20 years now, I really appreciate your words of encouragement. Because every time I watch a KIM JUNG GI video, I feel so amazed yet Frustrated that I'm not close to his AMAZING artistic level! I WANT TO BE LIKE HIM!! LOL!! Seriously! I'm like "Damn!" when I watch him. All I can do is shake my head and stay in my lane. Hoping to improve in my skill as I continue to draw. 😏

Very insightful and crucial words! Sometimes we tend to forget that behind every piece of work we like on social media from our favorite artists, is based on years of blood, sweat and tears. We only see the finished product and assume they’re just gifted. But like in sports only about 1% are naturally gifted and the rest are based on the old cliche, that hard work pays off! With failure definitely a huge part of the process. We all know how cut throat the industry can be. So we should always be able to pick ourselves up, shake it off, learn, and overall grow! Thanks as usual for the incredible content!

I keep seeing all these amazing artists and always feel like an outsider. I've only myself to blame for that, however. Too easily discouraged these last few years of my life. Solid message brother! That's something that everyone need to hear every once in a while, i certanly needed it today. I'm just starting to feel confortable again with my own work, thanks a lot to you and the community of artists.
