This was more than a no hitter...IMO
15K's
0 Walks
Only one runner reached base and that was off of a throwing error from Hanley...
Its the closest thing to a Perfect game...

Well, it just isn't a Dodger no-hitter without Vin Scully on the call. I wonder, just how many no-hitters has he called, including Jack Morris' on NBC's Game of the Week in 1984? Remember this is the same man that called the second half of Don Larsen's perfect game in the World Series in 1956, and here he is calling a no-hitter in 2014, 58 years later. And I know he's called at least three perfect games (Larsen's, Sandy Koufax's in 1965, and Dennis Martinez's against the Dodgers in 1991), and this nearly became the fourth perfect game for Scully.

Being a Dodger fan, I have to be honest when I say this: The Dodgers have an amazing starting rotation. The only blemish being Dan Haren, who isn't too bad, but should be a middle reliever. If they can find a suitable SP to fill Haren's spot, they'll be extremely hard to beat.

Glad to see Ellis didn't step the catchers mask again.

Why are some people hating on Kershaw because they aren't a fan of the Dodgers? Who gives a fuck from which team he is, the PITCHER is the one that completes a no-hitter by himself, not the team. Kershaw is a great pitcher, he has great stuff and that's why he managed to pitch a no-hitter, and has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Dodgers whatsoever.

when i saw that the giants ace got beat and kershaw was gonna pitch i told myself that today IS the day that kershaw has to win and boy did he ever. i think the dodgers can take first place but the giants arent going nowhere. they'll get the wild card and hopefully beat the cardinals for revenge and the giants for the good ole rivalry
