Mastering the Past: ASSEMBLING the WW1 Bentley AR1/BR1 Rotary Engine. The Bentley AR1/BR1 Rotary engine was a British 9 cylinder rotary aircraft engine. Its main application was in World War 1 aviation. The Bentley AR1/BR1 was built in large numbers, being one of the main powerplants for the Sopwith Camel.

The video is AWESOME. The engineers that designed this with pencil, paper, slide rules, t-squares etc. It amazes how they did it.
