Sault cops' new license plate scanner

A recently purchased and installed hi-tech Automatic License Plate Reader (ALPR) is making the job of Sault Ste. Marie Police Service patrol officers easier, and keeping the roadways safer.

This thing nailed me on a ticket I hadn’t paid for that gave them the right to pull me over and put my car in the pound for 7 days 🤦🏾‍♂️ ticket was something I took lightly had the money to pay for but procrastinated (not mad at the cops I was the fool) and had a judgment against me. $300 to get the car back

Learned to pay any ticket off right away or else face what the system feels is the right lesson for you.
