Evaporated Milk vs Condensed Milk EXPLAINED

I love Condensed milk in my coffee, you have no need for sugar, it's so sweet already and when added to coffee, it feels like you've died and went to heaven, Though I fear it won't help my caffine addiction much

Condensed milk is just unpalatable how it is sweet. So sickly sweet and uneatable. I can eat the whole bar of 100% cacao dark chocolate in one sitting. But, I couldn't take even one spoon of condensed milk (because it tastes sickeningly sweet). I would probably vomit from that sweetness. Condensed milk can contain 70-80g of sugar per 100g (or 100ml).

Before baby formula, babies were given evaporated milk mixed with equal water, if they weren't being nursed. It used to be kinda cheap. Not so much now.

What is done to milk, other than adding sugar, to make condensed milk? Is it made into evapotaed milk first? "Condensed" sounds like it means that the same starting amount is boiled / evaporated for longer than for evaporated milk. Is that the case?
