DEFINITIVE DEF LEPPARD: STAGEFRIGHT - How is it really played?

Welcome to my (attempted) new series: Definitive Def Leppard.

Having spent a number of years some time ago in a Def Leppard tribute band in the role of Phil Collen, I struggled to find any detail on some of Phil's live playing when I first started learning the material.

In this series, I'll be going through some of my favourite Def Leppard songs (especially ones from the Live in the Round tour which our show was based on) and running through what I believe to be Phil's main parts.

I haven't played these songs for a good few years since so cut me some slack ;-)

nice. What part of the songs did Pete Willis write? I don't think Phil was in the band at this time.

I've been playing the chorus the exact same way, but I always presumed one of the guys played the lower ascending notes, and the other played the top strings. Would have been waaay more economical that way

Sounds like you have the notes pretty much right. But, it sounds kinda rushed in spots; Especially, around that fast part.
