All that looks easy but when you have to clean it, it is not easy to get the moveable part that pushes the popcorn around back on. So I got one for my birthday and it says to clean it first. Which includes wiping off the part that moves the popcorn around. I did as directed, but how do you get that piece back on. I have yet been able to make some popcorn.

You can’t remove the non stick base to wash it? Why was it designed this way? Just wiping it is not enough to clean. Also crumbs get stuck on the edges.

I have this one and I love it. The only thing is how much oil do you need? When I make it I follow the directions in the book on how much oil to use for each cup and it always burns. What's the best oil to use to not burn the popcorn? Thank You!

How do you remove the heating plate for cleaning? Crumbs and stuff get stuck between the heating plate and the plastic body and I can't firlgire out how to take it off to clean under it.
