If Hasbro wanted to put out figures asap, they should've done it like they did with the Andor stuff: release a bunch of troopers and background guys first to satisfy the hunger for new figures, and then take their time to do the core cast much later, to minimize glaring inaccuracies. Tbh, I was actually looking forward to Baylan and Shin's figures despite not enjoying Ahsoka.

I have my reva on stand by for Baylan. Shin ive seen twice and have not bought. Hoping i can find her later for discount. Thanks for the review brother!

An honest review. I only got the Balon figure. It is very disappointing mainly because he is so small. I don't understand the rush, they got Marak, correct. Also, it is very disrespectful to Ray's memory.

Having a hard time finding these two in the UK but after this review I’m not that mad about it 😂

I didn't think the height thing was going to bother me, but it's so glaring, I think you're probably right they must have rushed them into production or something, had everything set to default.
Luckily I had gift cards left over from Christmas so at least the two scrap figures to fix the heights didn't cost me anything :))

These will have to drop to under £10 here in the UK before I will consider buying these. They not only feel rushed but the whole wave feels like it was made down to a budget!!

Yeah I’m with everyone else, I really love these characters, but the figs will not be purchased by me unless discounted and even then may pass on that shin(oof!). I appreciate the effort to get em out quick, but hopefully that’s a lesson learned for some complainers.

Ay. Honestly, if I'd stopped to think about it a bit longer, I would've passed on both of these figures. I think the FOMO got me a bit. Once they arrive I'm going to do the chop method to fix them. IE chop 1cm out of Shin's legs (and glue the legs back together) and add the cm to Baylan's (built up with epoxy and painted). I don't really like the look of the thigh swaps. Annoying that we need to fix the figures ourselves, but may as well make the best of the situation seeing as I have the figures on the way already.

Great to see no punches pulled. Seen a few too many "just buy 2 more figures and thigh swap, problem solved nbd, " but even before we knew about height, I was not feeling the likenesses, Baylan's weird patina, long saber, and no cloaks.

Imagine if Marvel Legends made MCU Iron Man and Spider-Man, gave them the same "guy with brown hair" selfie series head that looks like nobody, splashed orange paint all over Iron Man, gave Spider-Man a comically short web line, no masked heads because you don't need the full costume, oh and by the way they're both exactly 6" tall... and then radio silence about it. That would still be better because you know those characters will be redone within a year.

I can't think of other figures that have tanked my confidence in a line doing right for the fans as much as these two. I really wish they'd pulled production and delayed to get them more accurate, knowing that this is probably it for these characters.

Nothing against ppl who still bit or went for thigh swaps - I get it, I really wanted these two but just can't stomach on principle paying company more money to mod away issues that company should be accountable for fixing. Here's hoping for SHF or Mafex to spot the gap, swoop in, and clean up the mess, but highly doubt it. Just toys, but man it stinks when they're usually so good to have no accountability or course correction for these two.

Some people were complaining about the lack of Ahsoka figures after that January stream. This is why I was glad there were none. Let's be honest, we shouldn't really be seeing Ahsoka figures until early 2025 if we want them to be accurate.

I feel so stupid, but I'm probably still going to buy these figures. Loved the characters, and there's a chance we don't get any more versions of them. I feel like Ray's passing makes it easy for them to leave his story alone (didn't his plan seem WAY too big for a subplot of a TV show?). It would be nice to see Shin again, but we might not. She could have left Perida, but she chose to stay there with those bandits. If Season 2 begins with Ahsoka bringing Sabine home through the world between worlds (and I really hope season 2 is not just the reverse of season 1 where they spend it all trying to get home), Shin might be done.

Tough medium for newer media figures. They want to pump them out, but then there are inaccuracies. That's why I am glad we are getting things like the Droideka now and not 8-9 years ago. Detail, articulation, and engineering have all been amazing this past year and a half, the figure would've been subpar. That's why I am also glad we are getting upgrades for so many older figures that needed them (like Jedi Luke).

You can also us the thigh piece off Baylan for Shin to shortener her. Did the malgus swap for Baylon and didnt have anything for shin until i got to looking at the difference. Worked pretty well

Nate bringing the heat 🔥. I appreciate your excellent, honest review of these two figures.You know supposedly Hasbro listens to their fans -well they need to pay attention here. These figures are everything wrong with the line and they need to hear it. Good job my friend.

The issues with these two are glaring and unfortunate; but I am glad to have the character representations on my shelf alongside Marrok, HK-87 and Elsbeth.

Wow, you didn’t hold back. My biggest issue was the scaling issue mine both had the orange lightsabers.

Good review. I found both of these figures at Walmart but left them on the pegs. I just didn't think they were worth the full retail price. I may pick them up if they go on sale or clearance.

There’s no excuse for such a mess. Following Ray Stevenson’s passing, there was an amazing opportunity to give that character the affordable release that could at least look decent.

And Ivanna Sakhno has quite a distinctive portrait and they… “Barbie’fied” the heck out of her here. Remove the reddish-orange lightsaber and you almost think she could have been a survivor of the Purge. Her eyes are the most egregious, especially when put next to the box. For all the effort they tried to put on Mando Ahsoka in 2022, this is a step down.

It’s officially a TBS Blunder. When put next to Count Dooku, it’s hard to believe they’re from the same brand or line.
