Some don't understand in the book Tao of JKD Bruce said use what works for you that's Dan's point some techniques depending on timing and stamina doesn't work for everyone.

There are six S's according to Sifu Dan. One of them is speed. In religions you have to transcend the concept. Religions are only techniques for a higher realization. We should not get stuck on the religion itself it is only a tool so we may transcend it towards holiness. I'm glad you understand the concept of JKD. Another S is strength another S skill. Apply the six S's if you are interested in competitive fighting. Never feel bad over a defeat. They are just learning experiences. Another S is Spirit
