Bastien, very nice video. It's a pleasure to watch you fly the RV-8 as it was meant to be flown. For those that think the RV-8 is only for "casual" or "sport" aerobatics I urge them to watch videos like yours. Dick Vangrunsven himself said "Although RVs are capable aerobatic aircraft, we do not recommend them for serious competition aerobatics." I'm trying to get him to change his mind. I have been competing for 5 years in the IAC Sportsman category.

in the moment I'am build a Vans RV 8 - it's the next step after the experience with Zlin 526 & Bü 131 - but the RV 8 it's the best way to meet the playground in the sky & make a long distance trip :):)

Those 1/4 and 1/2 outside loops from inverted are painful.  Once was enough for me :-)

That is some clean aerobatics... Some RV aerobatic videos on YouTube look like they are flopping around the sky, nothing precise. From the view it looked clean.

why do you keep looking to your left while in maneuvers? I'm guessing as a reference, just curious.
