Borderlands Fallout - Hollywood is in DENIAL, won't admit the REAL reason why it Flopped!

Like Disney and Marvel's The Marvels, Madame Webb and most recently Star Wars The Acolyte before it, Borderlands starring Cate Blanchett and Jamie Lee Curtis is an unmitigated disaster at the boxoffice. Now the question is, why? Hollywood won't admit that, but we will, and even point out the flaws in their rationalizations and deflections.

I'm gonna say the same thing I said in another channel. Besides the modern issues the movie has, it's also 10 years too late to take advantage of any momentum Borderlands had.

The message will never go through. Deadpool was the last gasp of a previous era. Star Wars is dead. Marvel is dead. DC is dead. Disney is dead. The alternative productions are few and not traditional blockbusters. At this point, we can only watch old stuff, maybe some anime.

It certainly doesn't help that Borderlands flamed out HARD when the Borderlands 3 came out, was panned by fans (especially for the treatment of several fan-favourite characters) and the whole franchise being basically dead
