Hands down my favorite guys to listen to <3

To those who don't understand the song/language, it's basically a sad love song of a man to a lady whom he's deeply in love with but he knows he doesn't stand a chance with her and she might not even know he exists or that he has feelings for her.

The intro he shares the deep ache he feels "uisa he me'a mamahi ka ko ha 'ofa oku tangi muimui, si'i ete langa 'aho ka e tangi he po'uli" which I can roughly translate as "Oh how painful to have a love that follows you constantly, it aches during the day and cries at night"....

"Ta'ahine pei lea mai a kau fanongo, 'io he kuo mahino 'eni si eku nofo, kae 'amusia pe 'ae fu'u lotona ia oku eva ma'olunga mo fai teliha" which goes something like "Please speak to me girl and I will listen, yes I understand my current path (situation) is already set, but how lucky your heart is to come and go as it pleases (maybe he meant she's free to love who she pleases but maybe never him)"

This is one of my favorite Tongan sad love songs or "hiva kakala". I fell in love with this genre music at a young age thanks to my dad who used to jam and sing the solo parts with his siblings and at the kalapus "kava clubs" he would play at.

Anyways hope my 2 cents helped lol 'Ofa atu everyone & God bless.

-A Tongan American girl in love with her country: Kingdom of Tonga
