The Sony PSP Go, finally a truly portable game console from Sony. Very pocketable with awesome graphics. Please note, I only had a few hours with this, so it is not in-depth, rather an overview. Check out the experience in my review.

Wow! After watching other reviews of people just talking about things we're not interested in, this is a breath of fresh air! Good on you Dave! 5 stars!

@davomrmac thanks dave, since most of my games were downloadable anyway im going to do it. Theres just something about the go that makes it awesome. Its size, portability, and buttons are just awesome. I understood how people were upset when the psp go came out, since it doesnt use umds, but I think sony released it to appeal to a different kind of audience.

The PSP Go comes in handy if you want to download PSP games and PSone classics on to it. Sure beats filling up your shelves full of PS1 game discs and PSP UMDs, huh? The M2 memory stick for the PSP Go that I highly recommend is the 16 GB M2 memory stick. Or if you have a PS Vita and want to download and install PSP games and PSone classics on to your Vita, then there is no need to get a PSP Go.

I borrowed this one for the review. Bit even using it for a short time it made me want to buy one.

As far as I know all of the white ones are glittery, they have the little flecks in the paintwork.

If I were spending my own money, I would buy the iPod touch. However, now I have played with this, I really would like both. If only the lottery would come up trumps.

Thanks Rav, yes it was in my mitts today for a while.

@AmeduKid Thanks for adding that, yes error on my part.

If it were only one, then I would go for the iPod. You have a better browser, email, easier music management. Then a great selection of games and applications. You do not get all this choice on the PSP Go.

This is a very good point. I agree. Unless you really can afford it just for the more pocketable size.

I reckon this was a test to see if they could do it with the VITA.

@Lukerr05 Hmmm, my opinion is I would go for a Nintendo or iPod touch.

@gamerjps I would get white, but that is personal preference.

Wow, the PSP Go was actually in my "what I want you to review during December 2009 - January 2010 list" lol =P

Great review yet again, abit longer than usual but that's to be expected when you're reviewing an item such as this.

Thnaks for the great, informative review and I look forward to your next video! =D

@MacDoom619 in my opinion it's better than the Vita simply because of 4 things 1) price, it has been discontinued so it's cheap. 2) size, it's more portable. 3) Storage, you get 16gb of internal storage which can be expanded on 4) more games, not all of them are great but most do the handheld justice, simply put the PSP Go kinda dominates the PSVita

Yeah, if you have the money why not, i agree, you get something more pockatable, dont have to carry around UMD's.

One other thing that turned me off the Go was being restriced to buying games only on PSN store, so you want be able to always get bargain games at your local store.

In saying all that i do like how the Go looks and i was tempted but my temptation took a dive when i seen the price :)

Cheers Dave.

I definitely won't be visiting your site anytime soon, but good review. I wouldn't mind having one of these, but I don't think I like how it feels in my hands much.

Really good, detailed review but you should mention the negatives: cramped controls, no additional analogue stick and the price.

Also, what sort of size are the game files?
And how does pricing work for the games?

Thanks.
