To explain this, it is made with the english vocaloid called AVANNA, vocaloids are japanese digital voicebanks who are sampled from real people. For example, Miku's voicebank was sampled from the japanese voice actor:saki fujita, who is also the voice actor of torako koshi is deer friend nokotan. Some people think that this is oliver, another english vocaloid. Anyways, these voice banks are played like a digital piano, you input the each note at the pitch you want it to sing in and tune it, vocaloids are used in many songs like the popular Ievan polkka cover featuring hatsune miku, young girl a featuring kagamine rin(R.I.P to the producer), lag train(used in cute depressed) featuring kaai yuki, strong wind, slicked back hair(I think that's it's name in english) also featuring kaai yuki, miss wanna die(the english cover by if I remember correctly, juby phonic), and finally, the nyan cat song, the cover used featuring a utau(I forgot the utau's name) but the original featured hatsune miku. And vocaloids aren't even that new, the first vocaloids were made in 2004!(leon and lola, they didn't have avatars though and were unfortunately discontinued).
