A quick look at the huge array of custom chainrings on offer from Stone. A Chinese company specialising in 1x chainrings with narrow-wide tooth profiles. You can search for them on AliExpress, or use the following links.

Their huge choice of different BCD combinations and sizes gives you an option for nearly every build. I bought these with my own money, and this isn't a sponsored review. Any questions, ask below!

I really wanted to buy a stone 60t chainring this weekend, but I thought I'd just check to make sure they're not crap. Thanks for the video, it pleases me to know that you've had a good experience with their products, as such I shall proceed to buy it.

Just got my narrow wide oval 58t Stone workshop chainring. Bcd 130. 167g. Heckin light and feels really really quality. Meshed with a 11 speed dura ace chain it's decently quiet, but still louder than with regular chainrings. But the teeth mesh perfectly and keep the chain really really safe from dropping off. Even at really bad chain crossing
The 5 aluminium bolts were 9.06g for every piece

Thanks for the links.
By the way, I also ride 165mm cranks. Not easy to find. Never on special. But always a special order.

Not a road brand but I figure you might like this

Far East cycles is an Asian flatland bmx brand. They make a titanium 19mm 48spline crankset, profile makes bbs that convert bb30 and other bbs to euro. Their cranks are fairly cheap for a fully titanium crank 445 grams so really light, and that’s with steel spindle bolt spacers and a steel spindle bolt.

Profile also makes spline drive spiders and sprockets. Thus no sprocket bolt weight. Spider could let you do something cool if you could find a decently priced ti chainring or get one made by stone.

Raw ti cranks anodized spider raw ti chainring. Match the hubs on the build plus other bits to the spider. Black everything else out. However you could probably also send stone a profile spline drive adapter for one of the sprockets just make sure it’s 19mm not 22mm and have them make you something mad light that’d work nice.

160mm cranks length so not the best but probably fine for you with shorter legs. Could also work on a bike you want to use to train to spin higher cadence.

Though E13 makes an XC crank that’s lighter and cheaper than the ti cranks I believe. But 1x only. The Far East cranks could be used to do 2x if you get a longer spindle from profile or somewhere else.

Oh and now8 sells a pedal made by a factory in China. 220 grams a pair and they’re like 40-50$ on aliexpress. Sometimes less but meh. Nice size platform too. Metal pins ensure good grip, carbon nylon material. Makes me stronger then regular plastics and a bit lighter.

Hi and thanks for the link. Im looking for campagnolo chainrings and in pink without logo. Any chance you've seen them where you are?

It is so hard to find 165mm cranks anywhere. They are also more expensive. I got mine when people sold their WSD bicycles which usually feature 165mm cranks.

I was wondering if you ever got to install that large ring on your road bike. I've never tried ovals and was curious how it ran.

Thanks for the video. I'm also very interested in trying a 1x oval chainring (I'm using a round SRAM X-sync 50t 1x chainring now). I've got a couple of questions that I hope you can answer about the pink Stone 50t oval 1x chainring that you showed in your video...

Questions:
1 - What is the thickness of the metal (around the mounting holes) of the chainring? My road bike has a compact SRAM Red 22 crank with 5x 110 BCD spider. However, the fifth bolt is "hidden" behind the crank arm and it inserts from the back side. This means the chainring must be 4.0 mm thick so it precisely fits between the four front-mount surfaces on the spider arms and the one rear-mount surface on the crank arm.

2 - When you look at the pink Stone 50t oval 1x chainring from the edge, are the teeth offset toward the inside (the frame side)? I hope they are because this is important for aligning the chainring teeth to the center of the cassette. That way the driveline is straight. (For example, the teeth on my SRAM X-sync 1x chainring are offset about 2 mm which places them about 3.5 to 4 mm closer to the frame than the teeth on a normal 2x outer chainring.)

Thanks again.

Dude, you have a great idea for a youtube channel, you could try invest more. You made a ant+ HR review, you could do a review on ANt+ speed and cadence sensor, like the aliexpress ones. bottle cages would be a nice one too, one a bought some chinese ones and they broke in one ride.
The shoes! This would be great, they sell the "Sidebike" shoes, they are similar to Specialized.

Well, i hope you keep going with your channel, i will subscribe!
TKs!
Great videos!

Hey CC, within this site/manufacturer, have you spotted any oval chain rings that are compatible with SRAM AXS ?
