Great looking bag compare to V1, i wish they do maintain the quick access from the top from V1

Peak Design makes such cool and quality gear. You mentioned it holds a 13 macbook. Is it too small for the new macbook pro 16?

I will miss the V1 when i am inevitably unable to have the V1 warrantied for a 1 to 1 replacement. The V2, for all its features, lacks the elegant look that I've come to associate with the brand. The V2 looks like blunt tool for carrying my EDCs, as opposed to the V1 that did the same, but with a definite flair about it.

I have this bag for 2 months and I am still having problem closing the bag using the front mag clip or latch. Perhaps it is just me but the hook does not secure in place most of the time. You need to put in extra effort to get it right. If you are wearing linen shirt, your shirt fabric will stick on the bag, The material of the bag is quite abrasive. Another grip is lack of pockets. The internal front pocket is too shallow to store anything. I can't even put in my wallet unless I don't zip up. Why can't it be deeper? The 2 side pockets are too small and have limited purposes. Fully load up, the bag cannot stand upright and will fall off from chair. Be careful and always close your bag when you have expensive gears in it. As pointed out in the video, small accessories will fall off from the gap between the flap and main storage area. It is not cheap and I regret getting it. Can't sell mine as the latches are showing signs of wear already even though I don't use it often.

One thing that you do not mention is how hard it is to get the serial number hidden in the bag. Yes it is in the side pocket but it is incredibly small and hard to get to. I love the bag and the quality. The registration experience was a negative on an otherwise positive experience

I think the magnet clasp is a risk, to memory cards and camera bodies

The V2 is a clear downgrade from the V1. I'm not used to packhacker failing to call this out. You all usually have no problem questioning the direction a company takes. Do you have any thoughts on the transition from V1 to V2?
