Cassandra (Abba)

During a recent cruise to Norway on the P&O ship 'Azura,' I worked on a photographic story with my wonderful daughter. It's deliberately melancholic in nature and fits wonderfully with the mood in the Abba record, Cassandra. I've had a project like this in mind for a long time now using this record, and although Norway isn't Sweden, I thought the mood was perfect.

I do not make money from my videos, and I use the music (Cassandra, by Abba) under 'fair use.' All of the photographs are my own, apart from one image (the man and the girl - father and daughter) which was taken by a P&O photographer that I purchased on board the ship.

Shout out to P&O Cruises... I heartily recommend them... especially if they don't try to take my video down! :)

Your video was suggested to me by YouTube because of my liking of ABBA and yes, this a very melancholy song and your black and white photography accentuates that melancholy but your lovely daughter adds a personal and very human element which makes the song even more poignant. As an amateur photographer myself, I love your composition and your handling of your subjects, not to mention that there are some outstanding close-ups ... any of these photographs could be printed and mounted making an outstanding addition to a collection.
