It was a cold and icy day but somebody had to go catch some fish. Hit the Hiwassee river for a few brown and rainbow trout. Caught the biggest on a Magooster inline spinner.

Even if you caught nothing at all, we all still love watching your videos, John! Your enthusiasm to ...Fish Every Where, Fish Any Where...and I might add ..Fish Any Time of Year, is what makes us keep looking forward to more! Thanks for blessing us yet again, Brother! God bless! :-)

My cousin turned me on to that honey hole when I moved to Cleveland in 1996. Have to say I never do as good as you !! Those were some nice trout ! If you ever have the time or energy to walk up river about a mile or so, there is a pretty big pool with rock cliffs where I hooked the biggest and first small mouth ever. Would love to see you video a trip to that hole ! You will know it when you see it !

That's awesome! Brown, Rainbow, and a Cutthroat! Never caught amy trout other than small stocked rainbows. I knew there were Browns around, but you Cutthroats are the only ones I have heard of. Looks like they are going to be hosses when they growup

Thanks for the video brother. I needed this today and stocked trout are always fun. You definitely pushed the limits. Tough day, a handful of friends battling the COVID in the hospitals. I needed this John, thanks again. One can only receive so much bad news and pray for recovery for friends. This was a nice port in the storm.

Make sure you wet hands before releasing those nice trout. Keeps their protective slime in tact. Great video BTW.

Are you kidding me, Brother John?!? The music, the fish, and the atmosphere that both of these elements created, make this what I call a PERFECT Video! I'm also impressed that all of the fish that you caught were Trout, and that fat Rainbow Trout that you caught had to be at least 2 1/2 to 3 pounds. That baby was a fattie! Also: That was a very nice Brown Trout that you caught, too. I would estimate it's weight to be at least 2 1/2 pounds. The one thing that you didn't do, was this: You didn't quit! You figured out that those Trout just wanted something a little bit smaller, and, before you knew it, you were in business. Too many people try just one kind of lure or bait, don't catch anything, and just give up. Not you! You figured it out. You truly make me glad that I'm a subscriber! God bless you and yours. Have a great weekend, and be on the lookout for some of the White Stuff down your way. We're expecting between 6-12 inches of Snow, then it may change to Sleet and/or Freezing Rain. I hate that stuff!
Anyway-Catch ya later, and, as I said, God bless you and yours!!!✝️✝️✝️

Way to go, John ! Even a few fish are worth the wait for your subscribers. A couple of really nice trout, too bad you don't catch, cook, and eat . We are always there for you. Always waiting for the next video ! Be the light (and the salt) ! Randy B.
