I came out of the Charismatic movement and heard this song in a Reformed church, I came to tears because this song literally preaches the gospel. No heavy repeats, fancy fills, silly adlibs just straight to the point. No revivals, heaven meets earth, awakenings, it’s is all about Christ redeeming us from our sins. Amen.

The first time I heard this song, I was in an upper room in India. To hear the Indians sign this song and know that they could be hurt or killed for singing it was amazing. They had to give up EVERTHING for Christ and yet they sing "All I Have is Christ". Amazing!!!!
