Cambodia is still developing but easy to get a retirement visa there.

For the Thai retirement visa you only need to deposit 800 000 THB in an account for 2 months each year. For Cambodia just pay $300 per year.

I think that the forecasts are very superficial. What the World Bank says about growth in dollars is also one thing.
Another is whether more money contributes to a better standard of living for the population.
The sum of money is just printed paper.
As is also proven by the price of gold (+30% in one year).
All of Asia has benefited from China. Because they produce goods more cheaply than the West can.
Can Vietnam compete with China?
Difficult, China is too big and has already built up top infrastructure.
There is also a question of cost-benefit for Vietnam.

And, as we can see at the moment, if the West doesn't print money, China won't be able to sell things.
And if Vietnam wants to industrialize more, then it has to compete with China.
And that will be very difficult. Especially when you know that we in the EU are already over-indebted. And the USA as well:) Worse times are coming. USA and China are already in monetary war.

EU wants to enter into conflict with Russia.

I'm about to retire. And I wanted to experience 3 years in Asia.

As I see it, it will be difficult.

Vietnam. Beautiful country with nice people and culture.
