The hybrid name psycholinguistics reflects a truly interdisciplinary endeavour: Linguists are engaged in the formal description of language, psycholinguists attempt to discover how the underlying structures are used in the processes of speaking, understanding and remembering, and how they are acquired by children. I don't know is there special term for one question/problem considering emotions and language - in analogy with research of different language speakers naming different points of colour spectrum different name, is there something similar considering meaning/semantic/pragmatic of the emotions in different languages. I noticed dictionaries tend to translate one emotion term with another making it look like both terms having same connotations, same usage.... And i though psycholinguistics may research that in relation to emotions and emotional experience depending on language of the subject. If there is some researches like these, i hope anybody could give me some term/name of that question/problem/research so i can search it on Internet easier.
