Onn DVD Player From Walmart Setup & Review

In this video I unbox, setup, and review the Onn. DVD player we purchased from Walmart. I show you everything that comes in the box including the DVD player, the hdmi cable, the power adapter, the remote and batteries, and the quick start guide and product guide. I show you step by step how to set up the Onn DVD player and show you the setup menu on our TV screen. This is a great video to watch if you plan to buy, or have already bought the Onn DVD player from Walmart. I plan on making future videos on this DVD player about the remote and what the different buttons on the remote are for, and a troubleshooting guide if your DVD player is not working. Seeing all these negative reviews on this. My fiancé and I first moved in together four years ago and bought this product so we can watch movies (obviously) never had any trouble. I’ve used it almost daily and prefer to watch my movies on this than any of my gaming systems. Easy to set up. Decent picture quality. Have yet to have any trouble with it. Actually just looked it up on YouTube to see what the best settings I can use to get the most out of the picture on my tv and stumbled in this video. I honestly have nothing negative to say about it. It’s cheap enough to get when your not rolling in cash. But quality enough to enjoy a movie. Love it after all this time still. It only plays regular dvds but I prefer the regular dvds over blue ray.

Thank you for explaining that the plastic wrapping needs to be removed from around the batteries. I would've assumed the batteries would still work if wrapped in plastic.

Does it play Blu Ray discs?

I’m asking because I have 6 different anime series (12 to be exact due to a series having multiple seasons) that are Blu Ray discs.

All of my others are either regular DVDs or they’re Blu Ray + DVD. I just need to know before I purchase. Thanks🤗

Mine looks exactly like yours, but does not have a HDMI on the back and didn't come with a HDMI cord.

Mine was working great. Went on vacation came back and it's not working. It's powering on loading but no picture on the TV.

Been happy with the onn Bluetooth speakers.
This DVD player has been a POS. At a week old it randomly shuts off. Now at 2 weeks old when it will stay on for a couple hours the sound signal ends regularly. I lost receipt too.

I bought this from Asda in the UK, does not come with with HDMI cable, but is easy to set up but terrible at trouble shooting. All I got was out of range message on TV, reset does not help, even the Asda help line could not help. Taken back for a refund, worse DVD Player I have ever bought. Will stick to a brand that I know.

Why when my own. DVD player puts a DVD the screen is always the same size as of the old 1940s disney films with animated films now have wide screen?

Why I can’t get a higher volume and the only way to get a high volume was to get the dvd max and the tv to make I was able to hear but still the volume was low
