back in 2007 in Munich a guy in my block had a carrera gt and would just park it outside on the side of the street between other cars, for the all night, like it was a BMW 118i.

I have heard there is a company making aftermarket clutches which not only cost less but have made the clutch bite point better. So most of the GTs have moved to them, I am sorry I cannot remember the name.
But in today's competitive world it shouldn't be a surprise.
