In this second installment of our three-part Life and Death series we turn our attention to the resurrection. We take a look at what the gospel is and how it reverses the twin problems of sin and death. Once again, our title is taken from Paul’s words to young Timothy: “There is laid up for me the crown of righteousness.”

This is an inspirational series and I thank God that He put it in your mind to preach these sermons, Pr. Assherick. My beautiful dog Biscuit died in 2017 with my dad following her in 2018, and lately the pain of their passing has been especially sharp. Thank you for the comfort you give me, by God's pity, in these messages.

Pastor Assherick I am so happy you have allowed the Holy Spirit to use you in such an awesome way with this series! It's gives me great hope, and encourages me to live justly before the Lord of Host. So, in the end on "The Last Day" I will be caught up to meet my Savior Jesus Christ in the air. May Almighty and Everlasting Father in heaven keep you and sustain everything around you always, in Jesus Name! Amen!

Tuning in from Victoria Falls Zimbabwe . Due to Covid restrictions I am not able to meet with other Sabbath believers. I live alone in the bush not far from the Zambezi river. I so enjoy your presentations.

I feel the disciples instigated the confirmation of the death from their Rabi.

The disciples say “the One You Loved” & then go on reminding Jesus that “ if …Your Beloved is only sleeping …let Him be.”

It’s interesting how the disciples who were chosen (as we are 😉) continue to question and constantly question The Truth.
