I hit menopause at 40, was so shocked. Thanks for the info, no one talks about this like we are shamed already for aging as women but hit menopause and u feel like the nails are hitting the coffin. My dr gave me no options when he told me i was post menopausal just smirked.

I had menopause at the normal time. But when I worked at a ladies gym and found out there were women who had menopause in their 40's. I was shocked but happy for them. I thought it just meant you just stop your period. Most of us know nothing. Our doctors and mothers dont tell us. I thought menopause would be a great time in my life stopping my period.
I didnt realize how hard they had it. I had no idea! Thank you for this education!

This one is scary! My obgyn told me that ince I have no risks, eat healthy, weight train that I don't need to get a bone density test until I am 65. I thought wow, by then it may be too late.
She knows about my premature menopause. She performed a hystrerectony in 2015, and I went into surgical menopause at the age of 46.
It is sad that so many doctors do not teach us about these things. It is actually disappointing.
I am blessed to at least learn it from you. Thank you.

Apart from being a caring doctor, you are a wonderful teacher, with all the necessary reviews for us all to be reminded and learn deeply. Thank you again!

I am so thankful to you, Barbie! I am avoiding the problems my stubborn mother has. She broke her right wrist in her 60’s, refused her doctor’s advice for a DEXA (and any other female tests) and is having hip and back problems now. She thinks getting a shoe with a lift (on one side) will take care of her pain. 🤦🏻‍♀️
Looking forward to our consultation! XO~Maria

I am 45 years old, and I recently started estrogen patches, but I have been taking oral progesterone for several years. I just had my first DEXA scan because I sustained a compression fracture at T11, and it still hurts. My Dexa scan showed that I have osteoporosis in my spine and hip. How devastating. I was not expecting this at 45 years old.

Unfortunately I had to have a cyst removed and an ovary to have tested for cancer. Thank God no cancer was found but my one lonely little ovary is not pulling the weight. I have now been thrown right in the middle of menopause at 46. I had my uterus removed several years ago. Thank God I have been watching your videos for a long time. I knew what to look for and how to talk to my doctor. I’ve started a patch a few days ago. I pray it starts working soon. The vertigo alone is unbearable (I’m assuming this is a symptom of menopause). One thing I was not prepared for is the joint pain. I can barely move my arm. Feels like some sort of tendonitis. Menopause is no joke. I had no idea there were so many symptoms!! Thank you for this education. I wish I had known about all of this long before now.

I became postmenopausal at age 32, now 40. I started having symptoms in my late 20s but didn’t understand what was going on and my doctor was of no help. My mother went through it around the same age, but DNA testing shows it was not genetic. She took no estrogen replacement and has had osteoporosis since age 54. And experienced her 1st fracture almost 4 months ago and her foot is still in a walking boot. I have osteopenia and working hard to not have it advance anymore. I appreciate your videos as it encouraged me to get back on HRT a year and 1/2 ago. Also, your videos have opened my eyes to information no one, sadly not even my own nurse of a mother had time to educate me on. But I don’t think she is really even educated on it either to be honest. Lol so Thank you!

Ms. Menopause Taylor...have you talked about it or can you talk about it. And that is hair changes after menpause. OMGoodness! I have mixed texture hair. Mainly curly/wavy and even straight. So like 3 textures. NOW, my hair is so dry, wiry, frizzy. So I went from like 3a-3c to like 4a now. No matter what products I use to moistuize, still dry and brittle. Can't even detangle it now which is leading to matting. What is going on and what can be done to reverse this?
Thanks!

I hope you do a unit on PCOS and menopause. Are we at greater risk? I know it's so for uterine cancer and cysts.
