Maya and Carina are among the best example of female queer representation in any media in the last decade. The love, the care, the respect they have for each other is palpable. Their storylines through the past season were painful but beautiful to watch. Now they’re finally having some deserved happiness. I say so even if as a wlw couple they have much LESS screen time of any other couple on the show, though they are the MAIN of it. Maya and Carina are the soul of this show. They are the heart of it. Please ABC, do not cancel Station 19. This couple alone is what makes the show valuable.

This scene is phenomenal! The LOVE of this team of firefighters that are family who constantly show strength diversity support is truly inspiring. NINETEEN is my family! They absolutely are the gift I never knew I honestly needed in my life. Their stories need to continue to be told. Sad to see the outcome of Jack’s injury. He has always been one of my favorites. And absolutely thrilled that Maya & Carina were able to overcome Maya’s mental crisis and finally get the family they have deserved. so emotional... these characters have given us so much through the years.... do not cancel Station 19... it means a lot to many people.. There are countries where what Maya and Carina did (for example marrying your same sex partner or adopting) is not allowed.
Please continue to give us this kind of representation, it is too important for us to know that it is possible to be happy in other countries.

As an Italian, seeing that Carina is getting her happiness make my heart melt.
