With his expertise and passion for history, Ed Cotham is a distinguished figure in the field of Civil War preservation and an engaging history presenter.

Hi Ed... what do you think about Maj. General Hebert's decision to vacate Galveston since it was on a barrier island? Do you think this is similar to Robert E. Lee's decision to remove Confederate defenses along the South Carolina and Georgia coasts to farther inland? Thanks! - Lyle
