Let’s start with congressman’s salaries plus getting rid of all perks. Pay for your own gas, pay for your own food, pay for your own travels and so on. I’m tired of paying your way to luxury why I have to skip meals.

Irresponsible "bipartisan" spending is just as bad as irresponsible partisan spending. Sadly, our loss is their gain...
On the other hand, they think they're doing such a great job, because what we normal people think of as irresponsible, they think of as an opportunity for them to enrich themselves. Almost all lifer politicians think this way, and it's sad that too few recognize this.
