Brendan O’Neill exposes ‘moral rot’ within the ABC ‘media elite’

Spiked Online Chief Political Reporter Brendan O’Neill called out the ABC for its “anti-Israel bias”.

ABC journalists have complained to management that Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails deserve equal treatment to Israeli hostages captured by Hamas.

They also complained about using words like ‘massacre’ and ‘terrorism’ when describing the October 7 attacks but not being allowed to use similarly aggressive language when reporting on Israel's actions in response.

“They pose as challenging bias, but in fact, they want to bring more bias to the ABC,” Mr O’Neill told Sky News host Sharri Markson.

“They want to bring their bourgeois bigotries into work.

“This is a very serious state of affairs, and I think it really speaks to a moral rot at the heart of the media elite.”

So they are upset that they can't use inaccurate words to describe things Israel is doing, but also must use accurate words to describe what Hamas has done.
