Was KRONK a Squirrel Transformed by Yzma? ( THEORY ) DISNEY DEBUNK

Kronks dimwitted ways can only be explained by this theory that says he was actually a SQUIRREL! We also take a look at another Emperor's New Groove theory that explores the idea that Kuzco wasn't the only human-turned-animal!

Please let me know down in the comments if there are more theories you'd like me to cover with this series!

The biggest issue: I don't see Yzma having the patience to train a new henchman more than two or three times.

You totally ignored the real smoking gun here: Yzma didn't know Kronk could talk to squirrels. You can explain everything else away, but Yzma can't be that absent-minded.

Not to mention that the bug scene is actually a reference to the horror movie 'The Fly.' That high pitched "Help me. Help me!" line is iconic and is just funny to see as a side gag.

At least it's canon that Kronk's fursona is a squirrel.

If you think about it, the squirrel from the movie seems to actually be smarter than Kronk.

I love Yzma as a kitty, despite her being evil.

Here's a theory: Yzma is far older than any human should be as suggested by the numerous references to her age, she has a "normal" human companion who accompanies her everywhere despite considerable danger to themselves (and is replaced every few years), she has access to technologies that are far to advanced to exist in that time period, and she travels around in a box-like device that can somehow hold a massive tent and supplies despite barely fitting one person.

Conclusion: Yzma is a rogue Timelady who got stranded on earth, and the thing Kronk carries her in is a non-functioning TARDIS.

Very well put together! You missed an extra debunk: there's a closing scene in the original film of Kronk teaching kids (and kitty Izma) to speak squirrel, so we can even see that process rather than relying on his memories of childhood!

Yay for a new “Disney Debunk”! 😊 can’t wait to watch!!

The spider would also have to be human if that were the case, because after crunching on the bug you can hear it say in a smug voice “Too late.” An equally creepy prospect, to be sure. 😐

Also, Kronk talks about wrestling in high school in the original movie. That helps debunk the theory if you don't believe the sequel to be canon. If you're taking suggestions, I would love for you to dive deep into the Enchantress's curse from Beauty and the Beast. Thank you! Another amazing video, Chad!

I had no idea there were fan theories about Emperor's New Groove. This movie is a gem that needs way more attention it's getting.

In the movie Squirls are shown to be able to communicate to humans pretty well, understand them and even do things humans can do despite squirles suppose to not be able to do that.

I was going to cover this theory once, but there was not enough evidence. But, great job of explaining!

This is a really intriguing theory with many good points and I'm glad you actually did a segment where you looked at evidence which disproves your theory.
However, if I may, I have a few more elements that maybe you didn't think of ^-^
One, is Yzma didn't know Kronk spoke squirrel.
Two, Kronk was a Squirrel Scout. I think by the nature of the group, you have to have an appreciation for squirrels and know how to communicate with them; which would mean you have to LEARN these things rather than already know them inherently.
And finally, how about when they're in the restaurant and Kronk recognizes Pacha and says "Wrestled you in high school?" trying to put his finger on where he saw him. This means that he remembers going to school, AND was on a wrestling team.
And while you could say "He could have gotten put into school after being turned human to make him act more human."
I highly doubt Yzma's henchman would be of any use to her while he's gone at school for 9-10 hours a day.
And furthermore, why on earth would she put so much effort into trying to teach a squirrel-man English just for the sake of having a henchman, when any brainless oaf she can convince to serve her and do the things she can't do with her frail old form, would suffice?

Also about that fly who "was actually a human turned into a bug"... I think they were just making a joke, and "bbzzzbzz is not nearly as funny or readable as a pitched up "Help HEEELP MEEE!" XD

in addition to the sequel. there was also that pretty good cartoon series, The Emperor's New School. which also featured Kronk's family in a few episodes

4:55 That part of the movie was a reference to a horror film 'The Fly'. Basing a theory around pop culture references is pretty weak.
Your videos are great!

I would have also mentioned his beefy size too. When Yzma becomes a cat, she still resembles Yzma. Same with Cuzco looking like himself even as a llama. As much as I love the theory, Kronk in no way resembles a squirrel.
